Important deadlines: All Forestry Radio Users

Government legislation changes affecting all two-way radio users in the forest come into effect towards the end of this year.

After 31st October 2015 it will be illegal to operate on wide-band channels.

Please note the following deadline information we have received from the forestry companies:
Taumata Plantations Channel Re-programming:

  • Must be completed between 10th August & 31st October 2015

Tiaki/KT Network Channel Re-Programming:

  • Cannot begin until 1st October 2015 (An extension has been granted although we have not yet been given a revised completion deadline).
